This page compares a few simple Upper Colorado climate indicators against Lake Powell inflow and then overlays basin snowpack against rolling unregulated inflow on the same water-year axis.
It is exploratory rather than predictive. The first two charts show year-scale relationships. The lower two overlays are meant to help build intuition for timing: accumulation, melt-off, runoff response, and how different water years move through the basin.

Water Year Inflow vs Precipitation
Water Year Inflow vs Peak SWE (WTEQ)
Basin WTEQ vs Rolling Unregulated Inflow
This overlay is meant to build intuition rather than serve as a finished forecast model. It puts basin WTEQ and smoothed Lake Powell unregulated inflow on the same water-year axis so we can compare snow accumulation, melt-off, peak timing, and runoff response across different water years.
